BO
I'm a handsome boy, though a little shy.
I was part of a litter of kittens trapped at the VA hospital
in North Hills about 3 years ago (how time flies!).
I get along well with all the other kitties
here at Cause 4 Cats. I affectionate, but very skittish.
Please sponsor me to support my nice home here.

DANIELLA
I also was a kitten trapped at the VA, and I don't like being touched. But do I love people FOOD. Because I'm so cute and graceful, the Robrahns have allowed me to stay in the house with them and I guess I do push it at times. I can get very close to them to steal food when they are working at the kitchen counter or eating at the table. I think they let me move in on it thinking they can maybe pet me or get hold of me as I concentrate on the tidbit that tempts me, but I'm way too quick for them. When are they going to learn that? I also LOVE canned cat food, so if you'd like to sponsor my by sending a couple of cases of Fancy Feast (any of the Fish varieties), I would be forever grateful! Just please include a note specifying to DANIELLA'S ATTENTION. I wouldn't care to share!

ICHABOD
I'm Ichabod and my favorite pastime is napping on the counter in the sun. My sister, Irma, and I were inseparable kittens at the VA when we were trapped - in the same trap! Both of us are still too skittish to consider for adoption, but we get along well in the Robrahn's home with the other kitties. We sure would appreciate your support!

JOJO
I'm the big guy that the Robrahns lovingly refer to as their Sumo wrestler. I think that's a compliment. I'm quiet and sweet, and I look quite loveable. I can really get a move on, though, if anyone tries to pet me. I'm fairly easy to handle, believe it or not, IF you can catch me! That doesn't happen very often. My sisters Jackie and Patience and I were all trapped at the Sepulveda VA as kittens, but we didn't socialize very well. We live in their house, but we don't like their attention. We love all the other cats, though, and we are well-fed and comfortable. So what's wrong with that?

LYNX & LONA
We are Lynx and Lona. We have a sister named Livia. We were trapped as kittens out in Pine Mountain Club at about 3 months of age. We are very proud of our feral heritage and we, though pretty as can be, will not condone to peaceable life with humans. We hate it when anyone tries to touch us! So we live in cattery number 5 with a few other cats who think as we do. Please consider donating to the fencing project so we can run free rather than be cooped up in this 10 x 10 kennel. (Please see HOW YOU CAN HELP - SPECIAL PROJECTS.) And if you want to sponsor a feral cat, we can assure you there are no cuter cats here to select from!

NEPTUNE
I should be living out in one of the catteries, but when the Robrahns came home from the vet with me, I escaped as they were trying to transfer me from the trap to the cage. They decided not to upset me - I'm no spring chicken - and so I'm still living like a king in the house. I love the high perches they've built for us over the windows. We can get way out of their reach up there! By the time they get a ladder, we have plenty of time to relocate. It's a great game of cat 'n mouse… (Hmmm, that may not be the best analogy. Oh well, you know what I mean!)

NOSY, SNOW WHITE and THE OLD MAN
We're relocated from the West LA area where our mistress died and her nephew was going to trap us and send us to Animal Control to be killed. We live in a cattery the Robrahns built from scratch. It's quite a place with block cubicles backed to a retaining wall, a sod roof to keep them better insulated year round, hot or cold, and chain link all around and above. It's pretty cool, but we lived on a large property with a lawn like a park, so we do feel somewhat confined. We'd love to roam free here - it is a beautiful place with lots of trees and flowers and a gorgeous view of the Tehachapi Mountains. If you would help the Robrahns fence the property so we could enjoy more of it, we'd be so happy. Thank you for helping us. (Please see HOW YOU CAN HELP - SPECIAL PROJECTS.)

PATIENCE
I'm JoJo's sister, Patience, and I got my name because the Robrahns had to exhibit exorbitant patience to trap me. There I was, the last of my family, left all alone for a week after everyone else had been trapped, even mom! And I was a mere kitten about 12 weeks of age. They would sit night after night waiting for me to get into that trap. I absolutely would not! So one night after waiting and waiting, they finally decided to leave the trap unattended until morning. I just could not resist that food any longer. My willpower broke and they got me! I still try their patience, though, since I'm as aloof as I am beautiful. That's my choice, you know. I'm a CAT!

PATTI
I'm really very shy and quiet, but I know I'm one of the prettiest cats here. I was trapped in Frazier Park right at the edge of the National Forest. I guess I was pretty lucky to survive so long on my own - I was over 6 months old. Cats in this area are easy prey to coyotes, especially the young and inexperienced. It is pretty nice here at the Robrahns. They have so many cats to look after they don't bug me often, though when I have a little problem with conjunctivitis in my eyes they are right there to catch me and put in some medication. That costs a lot of money, so if you can help with a donation toward that, I'd sure appreciate it. I feel so much better when my eyes get cleared up.

ROCKY & QUIZNO
We're Rocky and Quizno, two red tom cats, who live in the first cattery the Robrahns constructed, next to the house with a cat door into a cordoned off area of the enclosed front porch. We are two of seven feral cats living on the roof of a local restaurant and eating from its dumpster. I (Quizno) had a badly injured back leg that took months to treat and heal after my capture. One other male cat (Sam), 3 females and a female kitten were trapped at the restaurant, in a busy truck stop area in Lebec off Interstate 5. The adult females were all in early stages of pregnancy at the time, so our numbers would have jumped from 7 to 23 in a matter a weeks if the Robrahns had not intervened. Now we are going to live out our life in comfort and safety. Not a bad deal!

TOCOMOCHA
I'm from the VA in Sepulveda and I just might settle into living with people one of these days. It isn't bad here at all! I'm young and beautiful, with the prettiest brown tabby markings, so I know I would be adopted quickly if I change my behavior and warm up just a little bit. I'm considered too skittish at present. I would be grateful for your help, even though I might not show it in the normal cat fashion with purrs and rubs and kitty kisses.
